Buddha Lounge showcases hypnotic ethnic fusion and electronica from artists such as Rodelius, David and Steve Gordon, Alquimia, and Opera to Relax. While much of the album sounds like an Enigma rip-off and too many of the tracks sound too much like each other, Gary Stadler and Stephannie's "Dona Crei Tun," Drum N Space's "The Audience," and Zingaia's "Divine Flame" are among the collection's highlights. Though it's not exactly the most original compilation, Buddha Lounge will appeal to most fans of smooth, beat-driven global dance music. ~ Heather Phares
