Guatemalan Worry Dolls date back to Mayan traditions. Handmade by Maya Indians living in the highlands of Guatemala from wood and scraps of material to create an amulet to soothe away fear and anxiety. They make their living from agriculture in rural areas of Guatemala and are often dependant of alternative forms of income. This is a fair trade product Karma Living supports and supplies. The tradition is to tell your worries to the worry people then place them under your pillow at night and let the worry people take your worries away.

These amulets are very effective for children and are often used in hospitals for children suffering from major illness. Faith, intention and belief can play a huge role in being able to shed anxiety and promoting better sleep.

Whether you are young or young at heart these worry dolls make an ideal gift...
