Spiritual meaning of the Elephant with a raised trunk

Originating from ancient traditions in Asia and Africa, the symbol of the elephant has for many centuries represented good fortune, luck, love, family, loyalty and prosperity. In particular, a statue of an elephant when the trunk is raised is said to bring wealth and is an auspicious item to have in the home. Elephants have also been known to signify strength, power and will and in the practice of feng shui, when placed in a room can energise the chi (another term for energy or life flow) bringing courage and confidence to achieve goals.
