Peacock Ore, also known as Bornite, is an ore of copper. In the ground it is a bronze colour, but once exposed to oxygen the metallic lustre rapidly tarnishes to become purple and blue.  Peacock Ore is an excellent stone to have around while getting ready to go out socially, as it brightens your aura and brings confidence, while helping to relax if meeting new people. It is also a great stone to bring to an interview or audition to get noticed and remembered. Peacock Ore naturally helps with energy blockages, and can be used in any practice where energy is moved around the body, such as reiki and reflexology. Emotionally, it helps to reduce the fight or flight tendency in inappropriate situations and encourages reactions that match the situations more closely. Peacock Ore also encourages you to trust your own judgement without seeking the approval of others.

Healing: Peacock Ore is said to assist with cell renewal, healthy metabolism, adrenaline flow and fevers.
Chakra: Third Eye.
Zodiac: Capricorn.

Country of origin: Mexico
